Smoothies

Baked purée potato
(Recipe recommended for children older than 6 months)

Ingredients:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 150 ml milk
  • 15 g butter
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of sugar

Preparation:

Wash potatoes well ground in many waters.
Place in a roasting pan and put in oven tempered.
Check with a fork – if it means I’m ready come easy.
Remove and let cool slightly.
Peel your mix them well with a fork, then pass through a sieve.
Add the warm milk, butter, salt and sugar.
Mix well until we get a foam.


Puree vegetables
(Recipe recommended for children older than 4 months)

Ingredients:

  • 50 g potato
  • 30 g zucchini
  • 30 g carrot
  • 30 g green beans
  • 1 g salt
  • 1-2 g parsley
  • 5 g butter

Preparation:

Wash vegetables, peel, cut into cubes and place in a saucepan with hot water.
After 20 minutes cooked vegetables are sieved.
Add salt and chopped parsley.
Add butter when serving.

TIPS: All foods are introduced gradually feeding a baby. I will not ever give the first 5 g butter, for example, give a little today, a little tomorrow, until it reaches a maximum of 5 g.


Mashed peas
(Recipe recommended for children older than 9 months)

Ingredients:

  • 350 g peas
  • 2 g salt
  • 5 g sugar
  • 50 g butter
  • 150 ml milk

Preparation:
Raw peas in boiling salted water for 30-40 minutes, frozen peas in boiling salted water for 10-15 minutes.
Strain, mix them well (can pass through a sieve).
The steam bath peas mix well with butter, milk, salt and sugar.


Applesauce with cottage cheese
(Recipe recommended for children older than 6 months)

Ingredients:

  • large apple
  • 50 g cheese
  • one tablespoon sugar

Preparation:
Apple wash and peel.
It gives the grated glass or plastic.
Mix the cream cheese and sugar.
Mix well until it becomes a smooth paste.

TIPS: You can replace sugar with honey, just after the baby is 1 year.


Carrot purée
(Recipe for older children 7 months)

Ingredients:

  • 200 g carrot
  • one teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons semolina
  • 50 ml milk
  • one teaspoon butter
  • a pinch of salt

Preparation:

Carrots washed thoroughly cleaned, sliced​​, put in a saucepan, pour over them a large quantity of boiling water too and add sugar.
The simmer 30-40 minutes, adding water occasionally so as not to be caught.
How are hot, pass through a sieve, add semolina cooked in milk (or just milk) and salt.
Mash is put back on heat and you come up steam (not boil).
When from heat, add butter.


Puree spinach
(Recipe for older children 7 months)

Ingredients:

  • 300 g spinach
  • 1/2 teaspoon flour
  • 100 ml milk
  • 10 gr butter
  • a pinch of salt

Preparation:

Clean spinach, rinse in some water and put in a pan to smother in some butter until tender.
Pass through a sieve and set aside.
In a saucepan put butter, add flour and milk, stirring with a whisk to not make lumps.
Add spinach and let the heat 15 minutes.
Add a pinch of salt.

You can add a bit of sugar.


Purée fruit (apples, pears or peaches)
(Recipes for children older than 6 months)

Ingredients:

  •      200 g fruit (apples, pears, peaches, etc.)
  •      200 ml water
  •      30 g sugar
  •      5 ml lemon juice

Preparation:

Peel fruits and seeds, put them in cold water with sugar.
Boil until they are crushed easily pass through the sieve and serve cold, possibly with a teaspoon of lemon juice.
You can also use fruit compote.


Banana-mango smoothie

Ingredients:
-1 cup yogurt (nonfat)
-2 / 3 cup apple juice or pear
-1 Medium banana (sliced​​)
-1 Medium mango (diced)

Preparation:
Mix ingredients in blender until you get a thin paste.
Serve cold.
Preparation time: ~ 10 minutes


Berry smoothie

Ingredients:
– 85 grams of berries
– 160 ml yogurt
– 300 ml low-fat milk (for children over 5 years)
– 2 tablespoons crushed ice (optional)

Preparation:
Keep the mixture in a blender berries, yogurt and
milk for 1 minute. Place mixture into glass, ice and decorate with some berries on top, optional.

Cooking Tip:
Frozen berries are just as good as fresh.

Preparation time (minutes): 5min


Smoothie energetic

Ingredients:
– 2 bananas sliced
– 3 tablespoons peanut butter
– 160 ml yogurt
– 300 ml low-fat milk (for children over 5 years)
– 2 tablespoons crushed ice (optional)

Preparation:
Mix in a blender bananas, peanut butter and yogurt for 1 minute, then add the milk and mix again. Place one tablespoon of ice in two tall glasses, pour mixture from blender into glasses and serve immediately after cooking.


Fruit smoothie

Ingredients:
– 120 ml of pasteurized skimmed milk
– 1/2 banana (or any fruit ripe)
– Juice of 1/2 lemon
– 2 tablespoons orange juice
– Vanilla sugar

Preparation:
Peel and cut the fruit into small pieces, sprinkle with lemon juice and crushes.
Add the milk, vanilla, orange juice and mix everything until a thick cream.

Serve immediately with a bottle nipple hole that is large or noggin.

Preparation time (minutes): 10 minutes
