Sweet potato slices with cheese and tomato sauce
(Recipe recommended for children older than two years)
Disks of sweet potato with cheese and tomato sauce are a great snack that can successfully replace the classic pizza, which often craves your child and that you avoid having to serve him, to keep out excess calories or fat. Prepare your child sweet potato slices with cheese and tomato sauce and you’ll be rewarded with the most sincere smile of satisfaction!
- 3 sweet potatoes
- half teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of tomato juice
- small roll of mozzarella
- 100 g chicken breast, cut into cubes
How to prepare sweet potato slices with cheese and tomato sauce:
Clean the potatoes and cut them into slices of medium thickness anoint it with olive oil and sprinkle over the salt.
Place disks in a tray that you put baking paper, to form a single layer. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius and let pan over medium heat for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender little.
After you’ve removed from the oven, add tomato sauce over them, grated mozzarella date, diced chicken and basil.
Leave it in the oven for another 8-10 minutes, until cheese melts.
