Roast chicken with vegetables
(Recipe recommended for children older than 7 months)
- 3 boneless chicken thighs, washed well with no hint of fat
- 3 medium potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 200 ml of water
Put half the oil in the bottom of a cake trays and clean potatoes, cut them into cubes and I sit in the tray.
Clean and carrots, cut them and put them over potato slices.
Chicken thighs cut into pieces and put them over carrots, and sprinkle chopped parsley and whole garlic cloves.
Pour over vegetables and meat remaining oil and water. No need to put even a speck of salt, the garlic, olive oil, parsley and fresh carrots give enough roast flavor without additional spices.
Give the tray in the oven 45-60 minutes, until the vegetables are soft and meat is browned. Then give all the blender, in small or large pieces depending on the state in which the baby is in the “shredding food.”
Regarding the garlic, I personally leave a dog alone in that steak mixture in blender, it’s important to give it taste and all.
Garlic is a powerful anti-oxidant and is good for babies, may be introduced after 6-8 months (depending on the start time diversification) provided to be introduced gradually, like any new food.
